Pike County will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary with a Semiquincentennial Parade on July 4, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m. in Milford Borough. This community celebration will honor America’s independence with patriotic floats, music, and local groups joining together in a festive display of unity. The parade will begin at Ann Street Park and proceed through Milford Borough, passing notable America250PA projects, including the Liberty Tree and the Bells Across PA installation.
To ensure an inclusive and representative lineup, Pike County invites local nonprofits, community groups, and musical ensembles to march in the parade. Interested organizations are encouraged to register at www.pikepa.org/250paraderegistration
Afterward, head to the Milford Community House for the Closing Ceremony featuring remarks, patriotic readings, and a special performance by The Little Big Band featuring singers including Christine Honders, Broadway star Mark McGrath, and Ava Aston. The production is led by George Stalter.
While at the Community House, view Pike County’s Bells Across PA installation, designed by students and faculty from the Delaware Valley High School’s 2025–2026 AP Studio Art class. Then, take a short stroll to the Kiel Monument to visit the site of Pike’s America250PA Liberty Tree.
This milestone offers a once‑in‑a‑generation opportunity to commemorate our nation’s history and create lasting memories for the community. To learn more about Semiquincentennial events in Pike County, please visit https://www.poconomountains.com/america250pa/pike-county/
