Jersey City July 4th Festival 2026

The biggest free event in Jersey City is back and this year we are going all out!

The Jersey City July 4th Festival returns to Montgomery Street from Warren to the Waterfront for a full day of live music, food, family fun, world soccer, and the most iconic fireworks show collaboration on the East Coast. Free to attend, open to all, and built for every generation.

From the moment you arrive to the last firework over the Hudson, this is Independence Day done the Jersey City way!

Live Entertainment
Three stages of live performances running all day long, featuring the best of local. There is always something playing, always somewhere to be.

JC Free Public Library Stage (83 Montgomery)- A full day of family programming from live music, to dance lessons, to children's story time!

Y2K Stage- Visit the parking lot on Montgomery St @ Greene St for some shaded seating, a full bar, and your favorite hits from the late 90s to the early 2000's!

World Stage- Check out our largest stage at the Exchange Place Plaza! We have a full line up of DJ talent playing all genres!

World Soccer on the Big Screen
This year we are bringing the world's biggest soccer tournament to the festival grounds. Two matches streaming live so you can celebrate America while the world plays ball.

Food and Vendors
100+ vendors covering everything from local food trucks and international cuisine to artisan goods, crafts, and community organizations. Come hungry.

Fireworks by Grucci Show in collaboration with the Macy's Fireworks Show

The grand finale! The most breathtaking view of the Fireworks show anywhere in the tristate area, illuminating the the Manhattan skyline on the Hudson!

Free to attend. All ages welcome. RSVPS encouraged!
