Join KVML on July 4th for a full day of activities celebrating America’s 250th Birthday.Views of Human Rights Exhibit Opening
The morning starts off with the opening of “Views of Human Rights”. Donated to KVML by Mark Vonnegut who received the art work from the Carter Center, this exhibit features artwork from:this exhibit features art work from The Dalai Lama, Maya Angelou, Bono, Ray Bradbury, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Bob Dylan, Jacob Lawrence, Adrian Mitchell, Yoko Ono, Joe Petro III, Robert Redford, James Rosenquist, Ralph Steadman, Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Winters and Tom Wolfe, as well as interpretations from students at the Herron School of Art.
Vonnegut Family Reunion Panel
Lead by Local Historian Andrew Metrick, this panel features Dr. Mark Vonnegut, Nanette Vonnegut, and Filmmaker Robert Weide speaking on the history of the Vonnegut Family in Indianapolis.
