A Historic 250 year anniversary of The United States of America. (echoing fanfare) is upon us, come celebrate with a fantastic four course meal and fireworks. Meet San Francisco Foodies, a small group of 3,700 people dedicated to appreciating San Francisco's Food culture and supporting our restaurants, groceries and other bringers of great meals and experiences.

Fireworks in San Francisco are a humors joke, a promise, a once a year local government Sysphian project, or as I like to say, Hope.

In 2025 the Fireworks were seen, they were wonderful, perhaps perfect. We have video evidence.

When I first moved here, in 2001, my first United States Independence Day (July 4th) in San Francisco; I took my son and boyfriend to Fisherman's Grotto No. 9. There we had an amazing dinner, they sat us at a window overlooking the bay and eventually the fireworks were filling the sky clear and perfectly framed, it was a perfect ending to our touristy exploration of Fisherman's Wharf and the surrounding establishments. Sadly, Fisherman's Grotto No 9 is no longer in San Francisco, we are missing that beloved destination.

Sadder still is that it is rare to see actual July 4th fireworks in San Francisco, fog, smoke, wind. Nature's Mother conjures new tortures for those locals who want to see the night sky light up. Even San Francisco's Symphony seek refuge fifty miles south in Mountain View.

Barring rain, there should be a great fireworks display and we'll have the best seat.

Dinner is a four courses with seafood towers, appetizers, your choice of entree and dessert, a cash bar, huge windows to view the fireworks from indoors and a private patio if you want to stand outside.
