Looking for a fun way to spend the Fourth of July weekend and meet new people?

Join us in the Marina for an evening designed to help you make genuine connections before heading out to one of San Francisco's biggest holiday celebrations.

We'll start with a series of one on one conversations powered by the GIST app. Whether you're new to the city, visiting San Francisco, or have lived here for years, this is an easy way to step outside your usual circle and meet people you might never have crossed paths with otherwise.

Over the course of the evening, you'll be matched with different attendees for short, guided conversations. No awkward introductions. No wondering who to talk to next. Just a chance to connect with a variety of interesting people in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

By the end of the conversation rounds, you'll already know a handful of people and have a sense of who you clicked with. From there, we'll form small groups and head out together to experience the Marina's Fourth of July celebrations.

Expect lively streets, holiday energy, packed bars, music, DJs, and plenty of opportunities to continue the conversations you've started. Whether you spend the evening bar hopping with a new group of friends, discovering your new favorite neighborhood spot, or simply enjoying a memorable holiday surrounded by great people, you'll leave with more connections than you arrived with.

Important: Registering through Meetup is only the first step. To participate, you must also complete your registration in the GIST app. The app is required for conversation matching, and your spot is not reserved until registration is completed there.

Agenda

5:00 PM — Check In Complete your profile setup in the GIST app and get ready to meet the group.

5:05 PM to 5:25 PM — One on One Conversation Rounds Meet a variety of attendees through guided conversations and discover who you connect with.

5:25 PM onward — Form Groups and Explore the Marina Reconnect with your favorite matches, form small groups, and head out together to enjoy the Fourth of July festivities throughout the Marina.
