Summer Young Farmers Camp at Urban Roots is a unique program that prioritizes leadership and teamwork. Campers in the program will work on week-long projects while making new friends and learning about the natural world!Registration opens March 15, 2024

🎨 June 17 - 21 - Groovy Garden Graffiti (Art Week)
Join fellow budding artists this week as we create art in the garden and enjoy a drawing and designing disco!
♻️ June 24 - 28 - The Green Agenda (Sustainability Week)
Get in, farmers, we're going green! It's a whole week to reduce, reuse, and recycle our way to the future of farming. Sustainability is our super solar power!
🐝 July 1 - 3 - Beehive Boogie (Bee Week)
Welcome to the beehive! Put on your pollen pants for a week of beekeeping. Hope you're ready to learn all about hives, hexagons, and honey!

Time to try a DIY! It is the 1st annual Great Farm Craft Faire featuring your own crafts and creations!
🛠️ July 15 - 19 - Design in Thyme (Engineering Week)
We're going back 65 million years to enjoy a prehistoric harvest with our funky, fossil friends! Join us in digging in the dirt for dazzling dino discoveries!
🍅 July 22 - 26 - Farmers Market (Market Week)
First we sow, then we grow, then we sell to those we know! Join us this week to go behind the scenes of your very own Urban Roots farmers market.
💥 July 29 - August 2 - Litera'Chard (Comic Book Week)
Bring your inspirations for illustrations this week at Urban Roots! Dip into comic strips, grow your sprouts and sketches, and turn the garden into a setting for a graphic novel. It's litty!
💦 August 5 - 9 - Farm Food Truck (Cooking Week)
From the farm to the picnic table, the Urban Roots food truck needs YOU to grow, harvest, cook, and serve up some delicious dishes!
