Once Upon a River… The Saxtons River Fourth of July Celebration🇺🇸
⭐️Join the Saxtons River Fourth of July parade to make this year’s event even bigger and better! This year’s theme is—Once Upon a River. Everyone is welcome and the best entry will receive a $500 prize!
While the parade is a huge hit, the Fourth of July in Saxtons River is so much more.
⭐️Run in the Firecracker 5k, with prizes for all age categories
⭐️NEW for 2025, ride in the Tour des Villages, a nine or 14 mile bike ride
⭐️Hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence on its 250th birthday
⭐️Listen to live local music on the bandstand
⭐️Eat cotton candy, and other delicious treats from local vendors
⭐️Shop locally made art and crafts
⭐️Enter the pie contest, or better yet, eat pie
⭐️Move your hips in the hula hoop contest
⭐️Play games for all ages from our bouncy house, mini golf, to egg toss and fireman’s water polo
⭐️End the day with pickup softball, or NEW this year, pickleball
