The Town of Richmond will be holding its third annual town-wide karaoke competition on the evening of July 4, 2025!You can sign up here: tinyurl.com/2025July4thKaraoke
The competition will take place in the bandshell at Volunteer's Green starting at 6:00 pm. DJ and karaoke host Bryan Moreau will have a complete performance setup in place, with microphones, amplification, and a karaoke system with access to tens of thousands of songs via an online database. The only thing remaining is you!
Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place after voting by our panel of judges: $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. First, second, and third place trophies will also be presented.
There is no fee to compete. All participants must be 15 years of age or older. Explicit songs are not allowed; otherwise, it's wide open.
We ask that each registrant let us know the song you plan to perform. This is to let us verify that we have the karaoke track and lyrics for your song, and also so we can make sure that we don't inadvertently wind up scheduling five people in a row who want to do Frank Sinatra's "My Way". If for some reason your song is not available we will contact you for a substitute. Competition order will otherwise be based on random draw.
