PRETZEL FEST 2026 - CELEBRATING 52 YEARS OF PRETZEL BENDER TRADITION
Join us at Willow Falls in Johnsonville for two days of music, food, fellowship, and community as we celebrate one of the area's most beloved traditions.
FOR MORE THAN FIVE DECADES, FRIENDS, FAMILIES, NEIGHBORS, AND VISITORS HAVE GATHERED IN JOHNSONVILLE FOR PRETZEL BENDER. IN 2026, WE'RE EXPANDING THE CELEBRATION INTO A FULL FESTIVAL WHILE HONORING THE TRADITION THAT STARTED IT ALL - THE PRETZEL BENDER!
SUNDAY, JULY 5 PRETZEL FEST COMMUNITY DAY 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
BELLA MUSIK PERFORMS IN THE WEINGARTEN.
BRING A LAWN CHAIR AND ENJOY AN AFTERNOON OF LIVE MUSIC, FOOD, AND FELLOWSHIP. IF TEMPERATURES EXCEED 80 DEGREES, THE PERFORMANCE WILL MOVE INDOORS FOR GUEST COMFORT.
Food & Beverage Available Throughout the Day:
• Johnsonville Brats and our famous Pulled Pork Sandwiches on Pretzel Buns
• Soft Pretzels with Cheese Sauce and Hard Pretzels with Cocktail Sauce
• German Potato Salad
• Sauerkraut • Cole Slaw
• Full Service Bar
• Beer, Wine & German Selections

Support a local organization's Dessert Stand featuring cookies, bars, tortes, and other homemade treats.

THE GOOD TIME DUTCHMEN PERFORM OUTDOORS IN THE FRONT PARKING LOT. MAYBE THIS YEAR WE WILL ALL FIND OUT "WHO THE HELL IS ALICE?!!!"

• Pretzel Bender Trays - including the traditional Smoked Beef Tongue!
• Jägermeister Specials
• Dancing & Gemutlichkeit in abundance!
MIDNIGHT - THE PRETZEL BENDER PARADE FOLLOWING THE AMERICAN LEGION SALUTE AND COLOR GUARD
Everyone is welcome to participate. Build a float, wear a costume, organize a group, or simply join the parade.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE PRIZE: $100 CASH AWARD
The American Legion Color Guard and Midnight Gun Salute will once again help mark this special tradition.
