Event Details: Join UpaDowna for community bike rides for all levels! Take on various shared trails, learn about basic bike safety, and enjoy the views! This Summer, weekly rides will take place every Thursday from 6-7:30pm at rotating locations across Colorado Springs including Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Red Leg Brewing Company, Kinship Landing, and Goat Patch Brewing Company. Check out the schedule below for more details. Rides will occur on pavement and light gravel trails and will range from 6-8 miles roundtrip. All rides are 'no drop rides' meaning no rider will be left behind! Safety first - helmets are required on all rides. No helmet? UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

The more you ride, the more chances you'll get to win our awesome end-of-season giveaway:

• Cruiser Bike and a Custom Bike Fitting Session provided by Bike Clinic Too
• Arc'Teryx Gear (up to $300 in value!)

UpaDowna Season Pass riders will get to enjoy a post-ride refreshment with drink specials from participating locations as an ode to our original motto, "Up a Mountain, Down a Beer!"

Cost: This is a donation-based event. Recommended $15 donation for a season pass. Make a one time $15 donation and ride with us for the Summer. That's $1.25 a ride! Minimum $10 donation. *Season Pass does not include bike rental.*

Pike Ride & Criterium e-assist bikes = $5/ride. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Acoustic bikes (only at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Lodge) = $5/ride

Need a Bike?: UpaDowna riders can receive a special discounted rental rate for electric-assist and acoustic bikes! E-assist bikes are available by Pike Ride and Criterium Bicycles for rides starting at Red Leg Brewing Company, Kinship Landing, and Goat Patch Brewing. Acoustic (non-electric) bikes are available for rides taking place at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. There are a limited amount of rental bikes available per ride. Please select a Rental Bike ticket per week.

About Pedal Party: UpaDowna’s Pedal Party was created to provide an opportunity for cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride together in a safe and fun environment while teaching the basics of bicycling safety, etiquette, and rules of the road. In alignment with the mission of the Summit Series Programs, Pedal Party was designed to empower individuals to reach new goals for their health and wellness and to challenge their comfort zone while also find camaraderie among the community.

* Special T-Shirt Giveaway to the First 20 Participants to Register*: The first 20 participants to register AND make a $15 donation, will receive a special edition Pedal Party t-shirt. Must register by the end of the first ride on June 6 (unless sold out prior to). T-shirts will be distributed in-person on the 3rd week of Pedal Party. Limited to 1 per participant.
