The Karaoke Contest is a long-standing tradition of the Tooele City 4th of July week-long Celebration. The contest is open to the public and FREE to participate in or to watch.Come and show us your talent! Visit https://tooelecity.activityreg.com/selectactivity_t2.wcs and select the time you would like to perform. Be sure to choose your song and be ready to sing! Contestants will be placed in an age appropriate group, where they will be judged on Audience Appeal, Timing, Tone, and Assertiveness for an overall score.
The age group breakdown will go as follows:
13 & under
14-25 year old
26-44 year old
45 and older
There will be a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winner from each age division.
Tooele City or DEA entertainment reserve the right to refuse song selection if they feel it contains any inappropriate material.
Contestant must be at the Tooele City Aquatic Center Park (55 North 200 West) at least 30 minutes before stage time and in the pre-staging area 15 minutes before performance time or they will be disqualified.
This event will also include a Corvette Car Show and a FREE Community BBQ.
The event schedule will go as follows:
Open Mic 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Karaoke Contest 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Corvette Show 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Community BBQ 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
