We will have a 1 Mile fun run, 5K and 10K this year! Along with Live music, Cornhole tournament, jump houses, food trucks, vendors and more!

Monk Strong Memorial was formed in honor of Justin Monk. Justin, a former Marine with the United States Marine Corps was diagnosed with brain and spinal cancer in 2019. He later succumbed to this cancer in 2023. Justin wanted nothing more than to help others. He dedicated his life to serving those in need. After serving in the Marine Corps, Justin came home and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He worked as an RN at the Hamilton hospital for 7 years. Justin was also a member of a small Church of Christ in Stephenville, TX. Justin left behind a legacy that can’t be matched. He was kind, loyal, honest, and proud. He stood up for what he believed in, and what is right. His motto was God, family, and hard work!
We are honoring his memory by hosting a yearly run and more. We would like to raise money to serve those who serve others! He left behind a S.P.E.C.I.A.L legacy that his family and friends plan to carry on.
