Guests welcome! Much happening!!! Getting set for the second annual AMVETS Independence Day Family Picnic at Gold Star Park. We are coordinating the prep with our DAV Chapter 52, and VFW and three American Legion Posts, PLUS the youth program ANTLERS of our host organization Marietta ELKS Lodge. Volunteers are needed to help with pre-day set ups, running the food lines and serving, shuttle service, games, and then all the clean-up. $$$ Donations are welcome for the food and beverages costs - we are preparing for 500 people!!!! This is a gift to the Community in thanks for year-round support. Come early and enjoy our free hot food Social Hour.... AMVETS is open to Honorably Discharged Veterans from all branches, all eras, including National Guard and Reserves!!!! Ask about joining ... (dues are cheap ... )
