Join us for our annual post-July 4th cleanup, to pick up litter from around Morro Bay.About this Event
The 4th of July is one of the biggest holidays in Morro Bay, attracting tourists from all over the world. Unfortunately, there will likely be litter left behind after holiday celebrations. Each year, the Estuary Program hosts a cleanup the day after July 4th to help mitigate some of this litter, and prevent it from becoming marine debris.
Please note that we are meeting at the Centennial Parkway (giant chessboard) on the Embarcadero, NOT at Morro Rock!
We will provide gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers. You are welcome to bring your own cleanup supplies and PPE if you'd like!
