Since 1904, Huntington Beach has thrown the biggest 4th of July party west of the Mississippi. The 122nd edition in 2026 is the America 250 milestone celebration, and it's going to be bigger than ever. Over half a million people line the streets and beaches for a full day of Independence Day tradition:

• Morning — Surf City Run 5K along the iconic Huntington Beach coastline
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Live Broadcast on the parade route
• 4th of July Parade — floats, marching bands, equestrian units, and community groups winding through downtown HB along PCH and Main Street
• All-day beach scene: volleyball, food, live music, craft vendors
• House Decorating Contest in HB neighborhoods
• Evening — Fireworks Over the Ocean from the Huntington Beach Pier
