On Friday July 4 2025 the City of Harrisburg will host the July 4th Food Truck Festival at Riverfront Park from 12-7pm. The event will feature 40 food trucks live music a wine/beer garden roller skating rink Western & Soul line dancing an American music icon costume contest a petting zoo featuring mini highland cows and goats an inflatable obstacle course free kids activities and more. Cheer on the Harrisburg Senators baseball team after the event at 7pm and enjoy a post-game fireworks display at the stadium.
PARKING: FREE metered street parking for the holiday $5 parking on City Island $10 parking from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg (you must enter & exit within this time frame to get the discounted rate)
TRANSIT: Free bike parking at Walnut & Front Street courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. The train station is a short 3 block walk away.
