Join us in celebrating our Nation's Semiquincentennial Independence.
The celebration kicks off at 12:15 p.m. with the start of the parade at the intersection of South 68th Street and West Layton Avenue and continues east on Layton Avenue to Konkel Park, and ends with the star of the show: the fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
Following the parade, there are plenty of activities to partake in at Konkel Park including:
• Post-Parade: FREE ice cream (while supplies last)
• ~1:30 p.m.: Echoes of Camp Randall (UW Marching Band)
• ~2:00 p.m.: Annual Greenfield Pageant
• All day: Food and treats from area vendors (including us, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds™!)
• 6:00 p.m.: Live music by Knockin’ Boots (High energy Country music)
• ~9:45 p.m.: A grand finale of fireworks
When you get hungry, stop on over to fulfill your cheese needs with our Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds™, grilled cheese sandwiches, and/or raw cheese curds. (Look for us under the bright yellow tent.)
Thirsty? We've also got COLD water and Lemonade Freeze Slushies.
The Greenfield Parade and Celebration are free of charge, so bring the entire family!
