Details
For over 70 years, the beautiful rural town of Graeagle has celebrated the nation's independence on a day more convenient for everybody (Doncha know). By July you will be wanting to get the heck out of blazing hot Sacramento. Take a drive up to the cool pines and buccolic meadows of Graeagle, north of Truckee and see Ophir Prisoners violate the endangered species act and disturb the peace and gentle sounds of streams and chirpy birds as we help celebrate Independence Day. Ophir will be blowing their stacks to celebrate 50 years of nonsense and frivolity at an old fashioned family friendly parade and picnic under the majestic Ponderosas. Pancake Breakfast at the firehouse from 8 AM, and then beer, lakes, mountain, meadows, flowers, beer, bears, trout, beer, grilled hamburgers, antique shops, historic buildings and the sounds of crashing cymbals followed by pyros in the sky. Sounds like a good time, yes? Wear your best ragged jeans and show your Ophir Spirit!Event Location
