Saturday July 5th, Death Guild and Dazzle join forces to bring an epic 3 room dark dance event to A Capella (formerly The Starline Social Club) in Oakland! We are excited to return to this beautiful historic Oakland venue built in 1893 and dance away the holiday weekend!- DEATH GUILD (industrial, goth, synth, dark beats) upstairs with DJs Decay, Joe Radio & Melting Girl
- DAZZLE (ethereal, post-punk, trip-hop, tribal) downstairs with DJ Owen
- Plus, in the SOCIAL CLUB, there's more music, food, and drinks.
DEATH GUILD, the longest running weekly goth/industrial club in the world, invites you to dance to your favorite goth and industrial jams in a historic ballroom with DJs Decay, Joe Radio and Melting Girl. Knowing them, there will probably be some fun weird songs tossed in the mix too!
DAZZLE, like the Siouxsie song, will haunt the house with an evening of exquisite dark beauty and rapturous melodies, featuring a whole night of new & classic -danceable- ethereal goth, tribal, trip-hop, post-punk, industrial that swirls, shoegaze, witch house, synth, down tempo, and more, as DJ Owen creates a lush melodic wonderland, draping the dance floor in rhapsodies of all things that flow in the shadows! Some of the music you will likely recognize and some of it will probably be new to you. And, to be clear, just because the music is full of swirling melodies and dreamy sounds doesn't mean it's sleepy. This is definitely a dance party!
