As we celebrate two historic milestones—America’s 250th birthday and the Town of Central’s 150th anniversary—we’re honoring a sweet piece of local history with a Blackberry Pie Contest!
Did you know blackberry pie was once the signature specialty of the historic Central Hotel? To celebrate Central’s rich heritage, we’re inviting bakers to bring their best homemade blackberry pie and compete for bragging rights and prizes.
A panel of judges will evaluate each entry, and prizes will be awarded to the top three blackberry pies.
