5th Annual Independence Day Bike Ride

I'm leading the annual Fourth of July Ride again this year. There is an additional leg of the ride for those interested in a slightly longer ride. The ride is basically a flat and easy ride with little traffic. Traffic does get a little heavier near the end of the loop as people start heading into Independence for the parade. For that reason, we ride as a group to keep us all safe. This is popular and fun ride.
After riding the 20-mile loop, we will ride out to Monmouth and back to Independence via the road to the airport for an additional 6 miles. That segment is a flat, easy ride.
Bring a dollar for the ferry.
We promptly ride at 9:15 a.m. to get back to Independence before the parade starts and traffic picks up. .
