CALLING ALL SINGLES!!!!Invite all your friends and join us for a fun day at Riverton City Park!!!!
Same spot as last year at Riverton City Park (Maps will be posted). This is a kid-friendly event. We will be in the park all day until the conclusion of the fireworks display and then until the cops kick us out (11PMish).
There will be a BBQ grill available to cook food. Volleyball nets to play on and plenty of space for games and a perfect spot to put you blankets down to watch the fireworks AND the best people to enjoy it all with.
What to bring?
- Camp chairs
- BBQ food and drink
- Snacks, treats, and drinks to share
- Blankets to lay on grass
- You & your little ones
- Games
- Cameras
- Charged phones (Many will get lost and your phone will definitely get used)
We will be by the basketball courts on the North West side of the park.
If you find yourself lost or late, make a phone call.

FAQs
Q - Where do I park?
A - If you come early there is plenty of parking on the road that goes around the park. If that is taken then park on Surrounding Streets. You can stop by our spot and drop off gear and supplies before finding a place to park.
Q - Food and drink? What do I bring???
A - Basically, you are responsible for you, your kids etc. This is a very casual get together and there are no food assignments. There will be food trucks at the park. There will also be a grill to cook on and some tables that anyone is welcome to use. If you do feel like bringing something to share, by all means do it! That being said, I like RIBEYE STEAKS in case anyone decides to bring me one... Bring water and your drink of choice... I'll have a cooler there in case someone needs to keep something cool.
Q - Why does it start so early?
A - Many people fill this park on the 4th of July. A couple hundred of them will be us. If you want a decent spot to watch the display with your friends, you'll want to get there early. I'll stake out our spot the night before, but I can only save so much area. So, the earlier you get there, the better off you'll be. If you can swing by early and drop off a blanket, we'll watch over it.
Q - Who's coming or who can come?
A - This is AMERICA and Riverton City Park is a public place. "Anyone" is welcome.
Oh and one more thing. I already know someone is going to try to get everyone together for a group picture. Seriously, every year it happens! So, maybe around 8PM for those who want to.
