It Is World Malbec Day! A tradition established decades ago a day set aside by the Argentinian Wine trade to celebrate the grape that has become so connected to the understand of wines & wineries in their country the varietal's source and why it became so important as it traveled!

Tessa represents Piatelli Wines of Argentina founded by John & Arlene Malinski who sought out new adventures & challenges and produced a successful resort winery and vineyards that are the toast of their adopted country!

Malbec the varietal or "Cot" as it is sometimes called in France is one of the component grapes in Bordeaux wine blends! In Argentina it found a home with high altitude vineyards great growing season and stunning terroir!
