Patriotic classics, movie music medleys, and orchestral greatest hits combine for an explosive program - but what makes this concert a real blast? The fireworks of course! ?Grab your snacks, picnic blankets, and bug spray and join us for our annual Independence Day concert. Set on the bluffs overlooking the mighty Mississippi river, Symphonic Blast is a free outdoor concert that the entire family will love.
This year's concert will showcase American composers like John Williams and John Phillip Sousa and will feature music from the Magnificent Seven, Jurassic Park, Carmen Suite No. 1, the iconic Firebird Suite, Stars and Stripes Forever, the Peer Gynt Suite, and many more. Be sure to stay for the grand finale - a fantastic fireworks display set to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
We encourage you to bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, flashlights, and of course, bug spray. Plan accordingly for traffic and large crowds - we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the show begins. For more information, visit www.seiso.us
