AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
Join us Saturday, July 4th at Riverside Park in Saranac Lake for an afternoon and evening of family fun, food, music, community, and fireworks as we celebrate 250 years of America!
? FESTIVAL BEGINS AT 3:00 PM
? FREE COMMUNITY BBQ - Courtesy of the Whiteface Mountain Masonic Lodge
? FREE FAMILY ACTIVITIES - Bounce houses & obstacle course - Face painting - Balloon animals - Caricatures - Fire Dancers-Family games and activities
? LIVE MUSIC - 5:30 PM – Emily Dowd - Saranac Lake singer-songwriter Emily Dowd brings feel-good original songs about her love for the Adirondacks and the experiences that brought her there, plus a variety of covers from folk, country, and pop artists new and old.
? FEATURE PERFORMANCE - 6:45 PM – 8:45 PM - Saranac Lake’s own friendly neighborhood Darkside Skinny Dippers AKA #DSkinnyD bring oddball rock covers, original tunes, and enough energy to light up Riverside Park before the fireworks even start! ????
? PATRIOTIC BOAT PARADE - Decorate your boat, show your patriotic spirit, and join the celebration on the water! Participants should gather near VOCO beginning at 6:00 PM for lineup. Jen Mott will be there in Her "Shake your Buoy" green boat to get everyone organized. The parade will depart at approximately 6:45 PM, travel to Riverside Park, and return. Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic entries, so break out the red, white, and blue!
NATIONAL ANTHEM - 9:00 PM – Performed by Brandy Clark
? FIREWORKS - Immediately following the National Anthem
This free community celebration is made possible by the Whiteface Mountain Masonic Lodge, Moody Management Team, and Good Guy Productions.
There is no cost to attend. Bring your family, bring your lawn chairs, and celebrate Independence Day with friends, neighbors, and visitors from across the Adirondacks.
Community organizations are encouraged to set up a tent or information table. Message the organizers for details.
