Join the WilCo Dems, Round Rock Dems, and Rep. John Bucy, as we march in the July 4th Parade.
We recommend arriving at the participant parking area at the First United Methodist Church no later than 7:30 AM to ensure you have time to join us before the parade begins at 8:30 AM. FUMC is located at 1004 N. Mays Street but you must enter via Sunset Drive to access the parking area.
From the parking area, you will board a shuttle bus to the staging location. Once you're dropped off at the staging location, ask a volunteer where #80 Williamson County Dems are located.
It's important to wear comfortable shoes since the parade route is approximately 1.2 miles long. It will be sunny, bring a water bottle, stay hydrated, and apply sunscreen liberally! To display support for our shared values, please wear a tee shirt with the logo of WCDP, RR Dems or other area clubs, Democratic elected officials/candidates, or any patriotic design.
As we celebrate our country's birthday, we should take a moment to reflect on how important democracy is and exactly what's at stake this November.
