Thinking ahead to July 4th 2025. We will be holding the Reading of the Declaration of Independence at 9 am on the Courthouse steps. There will be the usual Color Guard and Firing Party (hopefully including the cannon). Patriotic Music by the Cumberland Winds. Come and bring the family. It's a great way to start the Celebration. This is how the Declaration of Independence would have been introduced to the people of that time.
