As proud American citizens with deep roots in the Holy Land, we see this event as a bridge between the first Church in Jerusalem and the vibrant faith of the Catholic Church in the United States. We believe that keeping our ties to the Christian Arab tradition is not only a richness to our own families but a blessing to the entire Church and to this nation we love.
Our Lady of the Holy Land Community is proud to celebrate the Fourth of July, honoring the independence of our country and the freedoms we cherish. This festival allows us to give thanks for the gift of this land, while continuing to shine the light of the Gospel that began in this Bethlehem, Jordan River,Nazareth, and Jerusalem.
