As we celebrate our community, our history, our culture and our roots we will gather on Sunday, June 15th to wrap up our 2025 weekend celebration leading up to the Juneteenth Holiday.
Juneteenth commemorates the date in 1865 when news of the emancipation of African American slaves reached Galveston, Texas.
The official name of federal holiday is Juneteenth National Independence Day, also called Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Black Independence Day, and Juneteenth Independence Day.
This year is the THIRD YEAR that Juneteenth is a State Holiday in the State of Minnesota are we are thrilled to be back in person celebrating again.
We will have a fun, free evening of activities with the schedule outlined below:
12pm - The Party Begins!
Free BBQ, Music in the Park w/KMOJ Radio Live on Site, Outdoor Games & Community!
1pm - Webber Natural Pool Opens
Swimming is FREE and we encourage families to enjoy the pool for the day.
*Proper swim attire must be worn.
3pm - Event Concludes
*We will wrap up and conclude at 3pm but the Natural Swimming Pool is open until 7pm and we encourage families to enjoy the day together!
This event is FREE & Open to ALL as we celebrate our freedom, our community and our heritage. We look forward to celebrating our community and culture with each of you!
