Light Up the Night Sky – July 4
Can I buy tickets in advance?
This is a free event. No tickets necessary.
What time do the viewing areas open?
Viewing areas will open at 6:30 pm.
Where are the best viewing areas?
Viewing areas are in Heritage Park and the 6th floor of the parking garage.
Will there be food? What will be served?
Yes. There will be several food trucks. Inside the casino, The Charlie, Black Oak Café, Jumping Coyote and Seven Sisters will also be open.
Can I bring my alcoholic beverage from inside the casino to the viewing areas?
Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought from the casino into the viewing areas. All alcohol must be consumed inside the casino.
When does the drone show start?
It must be dark for the drone show, so around 9:15 pm.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. This is an all-ages event. Normal age restrictions apply within the rest of the resort.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
Yes. Outside food is permitted in viewing areas, no ice chests. Outside alcohol is NOT permitted and will be confiscated. No glass in the viewing areas. Water will be available.
I have an infant child. Can I bring food for them?
A small, iced bag with baby food or milk is ok. No ice chests.
Can I bring my dog?
No pets, except for certified service dogs. DO NOT bring your dog and leave it in the car.
Can I bring lawn chairs? Pop-ups?
Any size chair or blanket is allowed. Pop-ups are not permitted.
Is there a “clear bag policy?”
For this event we do not have a clear bag policy. However, all bags are subject to search by security.
Where should I park?
Parking is available in the parking garage and in G-lot next to the parking garage. If overflow parking is necessary, there will be signage to designate the location.
Does this event have a seating capacity?
Viewing areas will have limited space. It is possible that you won’t be able to find space to fit a large group. There are several viewing locations on the property.
Is the casino open during the drone show?
Yes. Black Oak Casino, THE HOTEL, Bear Creek Station, Elevate, Black Oak Lanes, Kids Quest, Cyber Quest and all restaurants will still operate during this event.
