Join us at 7pm on Wednesday, July 3 in Hufnagle Park.The award-winning Penn Central Wind Band is delighted to return to Music In The Park on July 3, for what will be its 26th year. They will be bringing uplifting, foot-tapping music in addition to patriotic and timeless tunes by classic composers such as John Philip Sousa - just in time for the Fourth of July! The Penn Central Wind Band is an all-volunteer group of great musicians, many of whom are professional performers and music teachers, under the direction of William Kenny, who has been a professor of music at Bucknell for over three decades. They are generously sponsored by Bucknell University as a service to the region and the Lewisburg community.
Bring your blanket, lawn chairs, and your favorite snacks or picnic dinner and come enjoy local musicians in the beautifully renovated Hufnagle Park. The events are family and kid friendly, so bring everyone along for a song, a picnic, and a dance or two!
