The Seal Beach Summer Concerts at the pier is an annual event held each year at Eisenhauer Park at the base of the Seal Beach Pier.

Concerts are on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm. They typically start after the 4th of July and go through July and August until the school year begins. The breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the Seal Beach Pier provides the perfect backdrop for the bands. 

Bring your blankets lawn chairs dancing shoes and picnics then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! Seating is first come first served! Concerts in the Park are free and well attended; early arrival to obtain prime lawn seating is encouraged. Use low backed chairs to minimize visibility issues behind you. Umbrellas must come down 10 minutes prior to the start of the concerts. Be courteous to others. No smoking in the park. Watch your children keep them off the stage and the stage apron. Climbing the trees in the park is not permitted. Place your trash in the bins throughout the park.

There are two sides of the park. Facing the ocean you’ll find the stage to be on the left side of the park. The grass area on this side often fills up quicker so patrons should plan on arriving earlier to secure spots on this side of the park. On the right side there is a speaker for concert goers to enjoy the live music but it is often a little more spaced out and you will often find children and dogs playing in between the blankets.  

Chamber staff and volunteers are not responsible for unattended chairs blankets and other picnic items. Please do not remove items (chairs blankets etc.) that do not belong to you. A representative from the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce is available for assistance when needed

FOOD & DRINK

We encourage all patrons to enjoy any one of the food establishments in Old Town on Main Street. You will not find food trucks or vendors (outside of our concert sponsors) at Eisenhauer Park. Patrons may bring their own food and drink to enjoy. We ask that all trash is properly disposed of after the concerts. It is important to note that Eisenhauer Park is a public park and open containers are never allowed in a public park.  

PARKING 

Curbside Parking on Ocean Blvd is limited to those with a Summer Concert Parking Pass. Curbside parking on the left side of the park is reserved for the bands so that they may efficiently. Anyone parking in the designated space will be ticketed.

The pier is at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Main Street. Out of town patrons usually get there by taking the 405 or 22 to Seal Beach Boulevard. Head towards the beach on Seal Beach Blvd. which turns into Ocean Avenue. You’ll see the pier on your left when you reach Main Street. (Or you can turn right on Pacific Coast Highway from Seal Beach Blvd and turn down Main Street. Enter the south parking lot from 10th Street. Enter the north parking lot from 8th Street. There is also parking on Main Street the 2 hour limit expires at 6:00pm. 

PLANNING FOR BEACH WEATHER

 The average temperature in Seal Beach in July for a typical day ranges from a high of 79°F (26°C) and a low of 64°F (18°C). Some would describe it as mildly cool humid but cool. For comparison the hottest month in Seal Beach August has days with highs of 81°F (27°C) and lows of 65°F (19°C). 

In the evening expect the ocean breeze to be brisk but refreshing. A sweater or sweatshirt is often desirable towards the end of the summer concerts.
