Kikimora is an exceptional 5-piece collective hailing from El Paso, Texas, celebrated for their genre-defying fusion of funk, jazz, neo-soul, and R&B. With a sound that effortlessly blends soulful grooves, intricate rhythms, and silky melodies, Kikimora draws inspiration from legendary artists like Sade, Jamiroquai, and Hiatus Kaiyote, creating a musical tapestry that is both innovative and timeless.The band's journey began with a fortuitous meeting between lead singer/guitarist Hayley and keyboardist Leo during their travels in Mexico, sparking the creation of Kikimora. Comprising Hayley (Lead Singer/Guitarist), Leo (Keyboardist), Ed (Lead Guitarist), J (Bassist), and Eric Boseman (Drummer), the ensemble is a true melting pot, with members originating from Argentina, Mexico, and Texas. Each musician brings a wealth of formal training, having honed their craft at conservatories and universities, complemented by extensive experience in studio production and live performance.
