Details

The Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park hosts the Independence Day Salute within the Grant Park Music Festival. The performance by Grant Park Orchestra features conductor Christopher Bell vocalist Katelyn Lee and trumpet David Gordon. Two music sessions full of patriotic tunes occur from 4:30 to 6 pm and from 6:30 to 8 pm.

It's everyone's favorite old-timey holiday celebration: the Festival's annual salute to America. With Christopher Bell decked in red, white, and blue, the Grant Park Orchestra presents Bernstein, John Williams, John Philip Sousa, and the ever-popular Armed Forces Salute.
