Independence Day Celebration

The Independence Day Celebration will begin with the traditional parade beginning at 9:00 AM. The parade will travel down Main Street from 14th Street to 9th Street. Registration is done online at:

Starting at 4:00 in the Collinsville City Park we'll have food trucks galore, face painting, 1st Annual Hot Wheels Races, watermelon seed spitting contest and many more fun family activities.
Enter the Big Freeze frozen shirt contest for a fast cool off when it's hot. Contestants will have to thaw out their frozen shirts and the first one to get it on will be the winner!
The City of Collinsville will be passing our FREE watermelon at the event and it doesn't get anymore small town America than that! Along with the FREE watermelon will be the watermelon seed spitting contest. That's sure to draw a crowd.
When the sun goes down you'll be on the edge of your seat as the City of Collinsville puts on one of the best fireworks displays in Green Country. Choreographed to the sound of patriotic music blasting from the stage you won't be disappointed you came. Collinsville continues to grow this event and this year's event is sure to out show them all!
Shuttles will run to and from the High School parking lot to the City Park beginning at 3:30 PM and continue until after the fireworks show.
