We are in need of 30 or more patriots to help carry our giant flag up the 1 ½ mile trail to the north anchor point. When we get more than enough, we will divide into groups to allow everyone a chance on the flag. Please show up ready to hike. Bring water and please dress and prepare for the elements. Parents, be responsible for your children. Let's keep our next generation of patriots safe.Once we arrive to our destination on the mountain, we will pass the flag to our expert mountain team and UT County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue. They will carefully load the flag on the lines and send her out above the canyon.
Once the flag is handed off, you're welcome to hike back down.
All in preparation for July 4th's, By The Dawn's Early Light Flag Ceremony. The program begins at 7:15 am on July 4th.
