Wildfires in Northern Saskatchewan are cited to have displaced between 10,000 to 15,000 people that call the North home. As an effort to raise funds for those impacted by the fires, a group of musicians from across Saskatchewan have come together to create a benefit concert at The Broadway Theatre on July 4th.With performances by The North Sound, Eliza Mary Doyle, RaytheNihilist, Former Lovers, and 8 Track Throwback, the benefit concert aims to create community and raise funds for northern wildfire evacuation relief.
Ticket prices for “Hearts for the North” are sold on a sliding scale model from twenty dollars to fifty dollars, allowing the purchaser to determine how much they would like to donate towards the cause.
