Before the fireworks light up the sky, volunteer to serve meals and let’s light up the hearts of those who made our freedom possible. Join Houston Millennials, VFW Auxiliary Post 8790, and Cloudbreak Communities as we prepare and serve 400+ hotdogs and hamburgers to aging and at-risk veterans—many of whom stood on the frontlines so we could enjoy our independence.

This is your chance to do more than say “thank you.” It’s your chance to show up and serve. This isn’t just an event—it’s a mission of gratitude.

We’re looking for volunteers with big hearts and ready hands to grill, serve, and connect. Whether it’s flipping burgers, passing plates, or just sitting and chatting with a vet—your presence matters.

In addition to food and fun, we’re collecting new, unused hygiene and comfort items for our veterans in transitional housing. These small essentials make a big impact.

Most Requested Items Include:

• New socks (white or black, all sizes)
• New underwear (men’s & women’s)
• Soft T-shirts
• Lightweight blankets
• Washcloths & hand towels

🧴 Hygiene Supplies

• Toothbrushes & toothpaste

• Shampoo & conditioner
• Disposable razors & shaving cream
• Lotion (unscented)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Nail clippers
• Hairbrushes/combs
• Lip balm
• Hand sanitizer
• Flushable wipes
• Travel-size tissue packs
• Face masks
