The Arcata Marsh Fourth of July 5K Run/Walk at 9:30AM. Start and finish at the Arcata Marsh by Klopp Lake. $10 for adults, $5 for 17 and under. Race day registration is from 7:30-9:15 before the start. The course is mostly hard pack dirt trail and a bit of paved road. Parking is limited at the boat ramp parking area, so plan to park on I St and walk in if possible. For more information, contact Gary Timek at gtimek @aol.com.
