DC Young Adult Financial Empowerment Program - [In-Person Summer Session]

Tzedek DC, a nonprofit legal aid organization committed to promoting racial and economic justice, is proud to offer a free 8-week financial empowerment program for DC young adults.

Note: This program is open to all adult DC residents (18+), as well as UDC students who are DMV residents.

The program provides a series of financial literacy workshops aimed at the specific needs of young adults like spending plans, debt, understanding your paycheck, building credit and investing. The program also offers individualized financial counseling sessions from experts and helps program participants set tailored financial plans and achievable goals. Program participants will be eligible to receive $100 in grant funding to start their investment journeys utilizing the Stackwell app.

For eight weeks, this cohort will take place in-person from 4:00PM - 6:00 PM on the following days at Tzedek DC's office (1100 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20003):

• Tuesday, June 10th - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, June 17th - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, June 24th - @4-6pm

1 week break for Independence Day

• Tuesday, July 8th - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, July 15th - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, July 22nd - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, July 29th - @4-6pm
• Tuesday, August 5th - @4-6pm
