The Annual Independence Day Celebration in Morton is presented by the Morton Park District and is held at McClallen Park at the corner of Tennessee and Rt 150/E Jackson Street. Admission to the park is FREE and there is paved sidewalk access for those who wish to walk to the event. Gates will open at 4:00 PM with fireworks beginning at Dark.Prior to the fireworks, the Morton Fine Arts Association sponsors two live music concerts the first at 5:30pm, and the second at 7:30pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, meet some friends & family, and enjoy fun for the entire family, food, and great music.
