Join us on July 3, 6:00-10:30 p.m. as we celebrate America with FIREWORKS in downtown Wadsworth!
Food trucks will be downtown as well as over 20 downtown restaurants and retailers! Fireworks will go off around 10:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter! This event is free to the public.

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, The Wadsworth Area Historical Society, in partnership with Main Street Wadsworth, will be hosting a short program that evening in front of the historic St. Mark’s Church on College Street beginning at 8:00 PM. The Mayor, Robin Laubaugh, will address the audience on behalf of the City of Wadsworth. Megan Harvey, Executive Director of Main Street Wadsworth will be recognizing the downtown area as a National Historic District. Finally, a large plaque memorializing E. J. Young, the founder of the Ohio Companies (Ohio Match, Ohio Injector, Ohio Boxboard and Ohio Salt Companies) will be unveiled.
At 8:30 PM, St. Mark’s Church, Wadsworth United Methodist Church, Trinity United Church of Christ, Wadsworth City Hall, and the Johnson House Museum will toll their bells 13 times in honor of the thirteen original colonies. Let FREEDOM ring!
