Burien 101st Annual Independence Day Parade

The 101st Burien Independence Day Parade (4th of July Parade) will be held on July 4 2023. The parade starts promptly at 10:00 AM and runs for approximately two hours.This is Burien’s largest parade, and thousands of people attend this great community event.

Please note that the number of entries allowed in the parade is 100. Once all of the spots are filled up we will no longer accept applications. 

New Parade Route

In addition to an earlier state time, the parade will follow a new route this year:

• Staging/check-in will take place on SW 153rd Street between Ambaum Blvd. SW and 6th Ave SW.
• From there, the parade will proceed east on SW 153rd Street to 2nd Ave SW, then turn north on 2nd Ave SW.
• The procession will then turn west on SW 152nd Street, continuing to 4th Ave SW before turning north to SW 151st Street.
• The parade will travel through Burien Town Square Park, then turn back onto SW 152nd Street heading west to 8th Ave SW, where it will turn right and disband.
