The Boston Pops Free July 4th Concert and Fireworks Spectacular

Boston’s iconic Independence Day celebration attracts over a million spectators along the Charles River. The Boston Pops Concert begins at 8:00 p.m. at the historical Hatch Shell on the Esplanade, followed by a 30-minute fireworks display at 10:30 p.m. The concert features a variety of musical selections, culminating in Tchaikovsky’s explosive 1812 Overture with real cannon fire and church bells ringing throughout the city.

• Special Guests:
• En Vogue (R&B soul group)
• Mandy Gonzalez (Broadway star)
• LOCASH (Country music duo)
• US Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus (traditional patriotic sing-along)
• Finale: Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with cannon fire, followed by a dazzling fireworks show over the Charles River.

Schedule:

• 12:00 PM: Secured areas open for wristband access
• 8:00 PM: Concert begins with the National Anthem
• 10:30 PM: Fireworks show starts, lasting about 30 minutes
