The Art in the Park Festival is an annual community event held in conjunction with Mandan Rodeo Days and the Mandan Independence Day Parade. Tents and concession trailers fill Dykshoorn & Heritage Parks during the two-day event. Situated on Main Street, the park offers the perfect setting to take in the Parade as it rolls by.
The event features art and craft booths, food trucks and cultural entertainment. Art in the Park Festival is a popular event, attracting 25,000-30,000 visitors from across North Dakota and surrounding states. Proceeds from the event have supported park improvements, student scholarships and the public library.
Art in the Park Festival is possible because of many talented volunteers, the Mandan Progress Organization, City of Mandan and more.
