Walk up registration will be available on the day of the races. Please have payment forms available (Cash, Check, Venmo are all accepted). And be prepared to arrive early enough to register/pay before your race starts.
Your entry benefits Standley Park.
The Courses start and finish in the grass field east of our new Pool Facility (adj. Swanson Pool ) at Standley Park.
The 5k course loops around Standley Park and Standley Middle School along sidewalks, paved areas, grass athletic fields, and using our new jogging/walking path.
The 1 mile course is a loop incorporating Standley Middle School's back sports field and the Grass Athletic field between Standley MS and the Pool Facility.
Both courses will incorporate a tribute to the community of University City (think "UC").
First Place Medals will be presented to 5K age group winners (one each for Male, and one each for Females) in the following categories:
- 10 and Under
- 11-14
- 15-18
- 19-24
- 25-30
- 31-40
- 41-50
- 51-60
- 61+
Winners will be announced on stage, and Medals will be handed out ,during the UC Celebration later that same day (approx. between the 1:00pm-2:00pm hours). Or come by the UC Running Club booth (located near the Beer Garden).
Entry fee for either race will include a free continental breakfast provided by the UC Celebration committee.
Online Registrations will still need to sign a waiver on the morning of the event.
*You can pick up your bib a day early on July 3rd from 5-7 pm at Standley Rec Center. Or the morning of the event (allow yourself plenty of time to pick up your bib, and prepare for your race).
Registration and Bib collection opens at 6:30 AM on July 4th.
7:45 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run Begins
8:00 AM (or after the conclusion of the 1-Mile) - 5k Begins
