The Crown City Classic returns for its 52nd year on July 4 2025 inviting runners of all ages to celebrate patriotism fitness and family fun. This iconic race offers a 12K 5K and a Kids Half Mile event all taking place along beautiful Coronado Bay. Starting under the largest American flag on the West Coast participants will enjoy stunning views of downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bay Bridge. The race supports the Island Sports Foundation helping ensure that Coronado students can participate in sports regardless of financial barriers. After the races participants can enjoy the Coronado Fourth of July Parade and end the day with a fireworks display over the bay.
