MARK YOUR CALENDARS - The Town of Fort Myers Beach is back with our Annual Fourth of July Festivities!- 4th of July Parade, hosted by Bay Oaks Park, is returning for another year!
The Parade begins at Bay Oaks Park, 2731 Oak Street! The parade goes down Estero Blvd to Old San Carlos Blvd in Times Square!

- Annual Fireworks Display will return in 2025!
Beginning at 9:00pm, enjoy an amazing Fireworks display from a barge in front of Lynn Hall Park!
Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed to inbound traffic from 9:00pm - 11:00pm for the fireworks display. After the grand finale fireworks, the bridge typically re-opens for two lanes of outbound traffic off the Island - Opening is subject to the direction of the Lee County Sheriff and traffic detail.
Big Carlos Pass Bridge on the south end of Estero Island remains open throughout.
Traffic is typically heavy for this event as is the demand for parking, especially in the Downtown District/Times Square/Pier areas. The Town has several hundred public spaces and there are some paid commercial parking lots. Read the Town's parking information. Paying for parking in Town spaces is easy with the Passport parking app.
Another option: consider riding the Lee Tran Trolley.
And another option: consider watching the fireworks from one of the Town's 29 beach accesses that are spread along Estero Boulevard toward the South end of the Island.
