The City of Bloomington’s Parks & Recreation Department is excited to partner with the Midstate Cruisers again with the popular City of Bloomington Miller Park 4th of July Classic Car Cruise Celebration in Miller Park.
This FREE, family-friendly Classic Car Cruise Celebration is for all ages, and takes place on Friday, July 4th from 1:00-4:00 PM at Miller Park, located at 1020 S. Morris Ave., Bloomington, Illinois. With over 80 automobiles scheduled to showcase, the community is encouraged to view the collection of antique and classic cars, race cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more!
Jim & Tommy, a local Acoustic Rock band, will perform a live music set throughout the event. Miller Park will be available for picnics, and The Longbranch Again, a local food vendor, will be on site for food purchases. The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at dusk.
Due to holiday road closures, spectators will enter and exit Miller Park by Wood Street. Bloomington Parks & Recreation will provide extended hours and special events for the 4th of July holiday.
Friday, July 4th, 2025 Activities:
• Bloomington Parks & Recreation main offices will be closed for the holiday.
• O’Neil Aquatics Center and Holiday Pool will be open from 11:00 AM-5:00 PM and will host a “All Decked Out in Red, White & Blue” event full of games and activities from noon-4:00 PM.
• The Den at Fox Creek Golf Course will host the 7th Annual Red, White & Blue Classic, a two-person Golf Tournament starting at 8:00 AM (Pre-registration is required).
• Miller Park Zoo will be open from 9:30 AM-4:30 PM, with the grounds cleared at 5:00 PM.
• Miller Park Zoo park-side concessions window will be open until 7:00 PM.
• Miller Park Miniature Golf will be open from 10:00 AM-7:00 PM.
• Miller Park Paddle Boats will be open from 9:00 AM-noon.
• The Miller Park splashpad will be open from 9:30 AM-8:00 PM.
• The Miller Park playground will be open all day.
• The Classic Car Cruise Celebration from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM in Miller Park.
• Fireworks in Miller Park at dusk (approximately at 9:15 PM). The Sky Concert is sponsored by Bloomington Parks & Recreation, State Farm Insurance and WJBC.
