This is a public, casual, no-host meetup. It is not a guided trip, business event, rental service, or organized water tour. Every paddler is responsible for themselves, their guests, their equipment, and knowing their personal limits.
Please help fellow paddlers find the posted meetup location once the water map is shared. This is what Paddle Crew is about: meeting paddle buddies, looking out for one another, and sharing an amazing water adventure together.
π« Waterway Boundary Reminder
Please do not paddle past the Waterway floatilla toward the end of the Waterway near the island. Stay in the posted Paddle Crew meetup area, remain aware of other paddlers and boat traffic, and follow all instructions from law enforcement, event staff, or local officials.
β οΈ Fireworks Fallout Advisory
Areas near the fireworks launch sites may experience fireworks fallout, including:
β’ Lake Woodlands Bridge
β’ North side of Northshore Park
β’ North side of The Woodlands Waterway adjacent to Town Green Park
β’ Parking lot at The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park
Please stay alert, avoid restricted or fallout-prone areas, watch for falling debris, and follow any same-day safety instructions. οΏ½

π¦Ί Required Safety Gear
β’ Every paddler must bring a life vest/PFD and keep it secured to their board with bungee cords at all times, or wear it.
β’ Safety lights are required for your board and yourself once it gets dark.
β’ Glow strips, deck lights, and patriotic lights are highly encouragedβthey will make our floatilla look amazing!
β’ Bring water, food, nonalcoholic drinks, bug spray, a dry bag, phone protection, and anything else you need for a long evening outdoors.
β’ No alcohol or anything that impairs judgment while paddling. This will be crowded, dark, and busy on the water.
β’ Know your limits. This may not be a good fit for brand-new paddlers who are not comfortable around crowds, low-light conditions, or water traffic.
β’ Help fellow paddlers when possible, but every person remains responsible for their own safety and decisions.
Letβs light up the Waterway, make new paddle friends, enjoy the fireworks, and create one of the most memorable Paddle Crew nights of the summer! ππββοΈπΆπΊπΈπ
